We have two options for parents and swimmers for staying in Lethbridge.

OPTION ONE:

OPTION TWO:

FOR THOSE ATTENDING THE RED DEER FREEZE OR FRY MEET FROM FRIDAY 8^TH TO SUNDAY 10^TH JUNE, 2012

A block booking of 20 rooms under the name of Foothills Stingrays Swim Club have been set aside for us for this weekend at the RED DEER LODGE.  RESERVATIONS: 1-800-661-1657. This hotel is very close to the pool and can even be walked to. You will need to book your room by June 3^rd.  After this point, they will be released back into inventory. We have a special rate of $102.00 per night plus taxes. Each room is standard with 2 queen beds. They have a fridge in each room. Breakfast is not included. There is a restaurant that provides breakfast but it does not open until 7am. Warm up is at 7.15am. It is suggested, you bring your own breakfast.

Please contact your coach by WEDNESDAY 9^TH MAY, if you DO NOT WANT YOUR SWIMMER TO COMPETE IN THIS MEET.

Meet and Event Schedule

Please see attached meet information.   This meet is open to the following groups (Dragons, Dragons 2, Leopards, Diamonds and Tigers) for those swimmers who do not have an A time.  However, if you are unsure, please contact your swimmer’s coach to confirm whether your swimmer should be attending this meet. DEADLINE TO DECLINE if your swimmer will not be attending is THURSDAY 3^RD MAY.

Correction: The original email stated that the key positions for the casino required a 2 day commitment. This is not the case. Should you be available for only one of the two days, you are welcome to volunteer. We apologize for any inconvence.

FSSC Families: Our club only gets a casino every 3 years and it is vital to the operation of our club. We need 5 key positions filled by March 30^th: Positions are, General Manager, Alternate General Manager, Count Room Supervisor (10PM – 2:30AM), Banker and Cashier. (These positions DO NOT need to commit to both days) 

There are two days of shifts with both day and evening shifts all consisting of 4 volunteers for each shift. The day time shift (shift 1) is from 10:45AM – 7PM and the evening shift (shift 2) is from 6:30PM – 2:30AM. There are also the Count Room Staff positions where 5 volunteers are needed from 10PM – 2:30AM both days.

A sign up sheet for the regular positions (not the key positions) will be at the pool for sign up or you can call Carol Faye at 403-938-2779 to sign up.

Positions will be filled on a first come basis and points will be assigned accordingly. Please sign up as soon as possible in order to assure your points are covered.
